What is aviation all about ?

Wheather you fly once in your lifetime, once in a while, or once a week, Life in the skies is an indispensable companion for you before and when you fly. Even if you have no qualms at all about flying, but especially if you do, I will try my level best to write up those knowledge that I have gained about flying for the pass 5 months. As the saying goes, "Knowledge is power" was never more true than trying to quell your fears.

Things you have always wanted to know about Pilots before stepping on a Plane.

How much does an average person know about air travel ? Most people get their impression of flying and of pilot from Hollywood movies. One of the most popular movie back then was entittled as "Flight". It was starred by Denzel Washington ( Academy Award Winner ) which also acclaimed box office blockbuster. I was compelled to watch this movie just because of my flight instructors. Movies as this had inspired me to do many research on my aircrafts performance and its limitations. Regardless of the aircrafts instruments and equipments, the most important thing that I had learnt during my flights are being on time for my flight and also having a good understanding with my instructor in the cockpit.

Pilots are also humans. Just like anyone else. Some are loyal and others are unfaithful. Admittedly, schedules for my flights are not fixed by myself. My flying school admins decides and publish schedules for our daily flyings. During my early stage of flying in a Cessna - 152 aircraft, it is impossible for me to know my instructor for my upcoming flights. There are times where my instructor and I had never even met prior to the actual flight. Those instructors in my flying school ensure that strict standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times. No matter how many different topics we converse in the cockpit, we still practice standard phrases for any maneuvers and commands during our flights. Most flying school teaches you to become an independent and succesful Pilot. It is you which have to be able to cope up with the studies there during your ground schooling. Your instructors will always be there to guide you around on your studies and understandings about aviation. Well guys, I got to go now. I will get back to you soon with a different topic regarding aviation and Piloting. Good day and safe landings everyone. 😊

Your eyes can either be your Best Friend or your Enemy

Hey everyone! How are you guys ? Thanks for checking in to this blog. I have always been excited about interacting with all of you on my favorite topics. Well, I know I have been missing for couple of months from writing up blogs. I m sorry to do so as I was busy spending time with family and vacations. Thank you for those which had checking on me through social platforms and email. I m absolutely fine in health and doing just fine. :) "Your eyes can either be your best friend or your enemy" I have been receiving emails and messages from many of you related to eye power and its limitations. Many of you also asked whether is it 'OK' to wear a pair of glasses for flying. See, flying is an inherently visual activity and being able to see is a Pilot's most important sense. Being able to clearly see your surroundings and take in information during flight is fundamental to safe and fun flying. For Pilots, it is very important to know whether they have normal un...

So You Wanna Be A Pilot ?

Did you know,   KLM is the world's oldest airline, established in 1919, and Qantas the second-oldest (1920). Also, pilots and co-pilots are required to eat different meals in case of food poisoning. And, the maximum speed of a Boeing 747 is 955 km/h! Flying is always excitement that takes you to cloud nine and you're not intimidated by the responsibility. Haha. Why not consider a career as a Pilot then ? I get so many questions on " Why did I choose to take up flying as my career ? " and even if I try to answer many of you as I possibly can through my Instagram page, it's impossible and it feels like I am saying the same things in repeat. So for that reason, I put this blog up and I really hope it can help many of you as possible. The Job Of A Pilot A Pilot's job is just not to fly and soar through the clouds. Their duties include checking the overall condition of the aircraft before and every flight, communicate with air traffic control over the aircra...
